For a minute there it was unclear what our none-too-camera-shy ex-Mayor Antonio Villaraigosa was going to do with his bespoke-suited self after leaving office last month.

Well, turns out he'll be taken care of by a $97,380-a-year pension for his years as a public servant, the folks at the Los Angeles City Employees' Retirement System confirmed to the Weekly. He got a gig advising the chief of Irvine-based Banc of California. And now he's going to Harvard:

The school announced today that Mayor V. will be a “short-term” visiting fellow. (That's what his many exes said! Pa-dum-pum).

He will join former Secretary of Labor Hilda L. Solis this fall. Jeb Bush and former Gov. Bill Richardson have also been short-timers, Harvard says:

Each fellowship is individually tailored to the background of the Visiting Fellow. Visiting Fellows have a compacted schedule and will often conduct three or four events in a day. These events include roundtable discussions, study groups and occasionally a Forum event.

And you thought Villaraigosa was just retiring to Venice?
