This isn’t your daddy’s Norms. Adapting to changing tastes, the new dining landscape and our undying love of chili burgers, the iconic Southern Californian diner chain has launched a new virtual restaurant – Zombie Burgers Co.

Operating as a delivery-only format, Zombie Burger kitchens are live in six different NORMS Restaurant locations including Costa Mesa, Whittier, Carson, Torrance, Riverside and Van Nuys. Guests will have access to Zombie Burger through nearly all third-party delivery services including Postmates, UberEats and Door Dash.

The new menu  includes over-the-top selections like The Screamer, choice of protein, two slices of American cheese, creamy mac-n-cheese, an onion ring and Flamin’ Hot Cheetos; the Don of the Dead with choice of protein, scratch-made chili, American cheese, red onion, pickles, Zombie sauce and fresh jalapenos; and the Hellish Habanero Jalapeno Bacon Cheeseburger with bacon, habanero jalapeno cheese, batter-fried jalapeno, Sinister sauce, lettuce, tomato and red onion. Other menu items include tots, greens, mac-n-cheese and chili.

Topping off the beastly burgers is Executive Chef David Cox’s scratch-made chili, which recipe he shared with L.A. Weekly in this video.

On Election Day, all 20 NORMS locations are offering buy-one-get-one entrees for those that show up with their “I Voted” sticker on November 3 (dine-in only).
