Long-time friends and collaborators Mollie Cha and Hannah Hong have rebranded their 100 percent plant-based non-dairy ice cream formerly on the market as Hakuna Banana and Totes Oats to Must Love, which offers a full range of products including pints and bars, now available at all Sprouts locations.

Must Love offers two different bases – bananas and oat milk. The banana base is made with only bananas, coconut milk and dates while the oat milk base with oat milk, coconut milk and dates. To differentiate on the packaging, each base is identified as either “Must Love Bananas” or “Must Love Oats.”

Already established in the dairy-free ice cream space since 2017, pints of the banana base are available in Choco Choco Chip, Cashew Cookie, Peanut Butter Chip and Banilla. Pints of the oat milk base are available Peanut Butter Swirl, Double Chocolate Chip and Snickerdoodle Dough. Bars of Must Love Bananas include Banana Dipped Banilla, Banana Dipped Chocolate and Banana Dipped Strawberry. 

The team of Cha and Hong shared their easy plant-based and non-GMO take on a traditional mochi recipe using peanut butter swirl and chocolate chip “nice cream” as the filling with L.A. Weekly.
