Let’s face it, when it comes to the holidays, we all know the pressure that comes with delivering a perfect pot of mashed potatoes to the table. You’ll get a heavy taste of that high anxiety on this week’s new double episode of MASTERCHEF “Legends: Semi Final – 3 Chef Showdown and  Semi Final Part 2 – 3 Chef Showdown”, a  two-hour episode airing on Wednesday, September 8 at 8 p.m. on Fox.

The remaining four semi-finalists are challenged to a “3 Chef Showdown” in a culinary triathlon that sees the home cooks making three dishes back-to-back – alongside three different legendary chefs.

The home cooks must keep up with L.A. chef Nyesha Arrington, Michelin Star chef Suzette Gresham and Gordon Ramsay in a meat and potatoes challenge that feels like Thanksgiving at my house.

On the show, Ramsay, chef Aarón Sánchez and restaurateur Joe Bastianich have invited culinary legends to guest judge competitions week-to-week.

Fifteen of the best home cooks in America will receive the coveted white apron and impress four legends with all new challenges, including a head-to-head battle with Ramsay. One home cook will claim the MASTERCHEF title, the $250,000 grand prize, a complete Viking kitchen and a trove of kitchen tools and bakeware products.
