45-Year-Old Woman Injured in Pedestrian Accident near East 9th Street
LOS ANGELES, CA (September 23, 2022) – Wednesday evening, a hit-and-run driver on San Pedro Street left Veronica Lugo with serious injuries.
The collision happened around 7:55 p.m., on September 8th.
According to reports, a vehicle hit a woman crossing San Pedro Street near East 9th Street. Upon impact, the driver fled the scene without contacting authorities.
Responding medical personnel transported the woman to a nearby hospital with severe injuries. Authorities later identified the pedestrian as 45-year-old Veronica Lugo.
Investigators described the suspect’s vehicle as a 2007 to 2011 Lincoln Town Car with a white-colored top and gold bottom panels. The car is thought to have front-end damage on the hood and windshield.
