Two people were shot and wounded after a suspect walked into a Venice barber shop and opened fire this morning, police said.
It happened about 9:30 a.m. in the 1900 block of Lincoln Boulevard, LAPD Officer Richard French told the Weekly.
One victim was shot in the foot and …
… was treated by paramedics at the scene, he said. Another turned up at a nearby hospital, apparently taken there by private car.
French said both had “non-life-threatening injuries.”
Police were looking for a man in a hooded sweatshirt this morning, he said.
We found only one such hair business in that block, Pico Barbershops at 1920 Lincoln Boulevard. Here's its Yelp listing.
[Added]: Note that photos from the Yelp listing depict a pool table under a “beer” sign inside the shop.
That's a full-service destination if you ask us.
