Traffic Collision on Wheeler Ridge Road Left Two Fatalities

BAKERSFIELD, CA (January 6, 2022) – On Tuesday, a crash on Wheeler Ridge Road claimed the life of Valpredo Ajpop and Richard Nunez Sioson.

The head-on collision occurred on the night of December 28th on Wheeler Ridge Road.

Paramedics immediately responded to the scene and discovered two fatalities.

Furthermore, police identified the victims as 28-year-old Richard Nunez Sioson and 34-year-old Valpredo Ajpop.

In addition, three children and another adult sustained significant injuries.

At this time, Bakersfield Officials are working to identify the circumstances surrounding the crash.
