Highway 113 Traffic Crash Left Vacaville Resident Killed

ROBBINS, CA (October 6, 2021) – A two-vehicle crash on Highway 113 last Friday claimed the life of Vacaville man, according to CHP.

Officers responded to the incident around 9 p.m. when a southbound Ford Focus crossed over the highway’s center line near Pelger Road.

As a result, it sideswiped a northbound Ford F-150 driven by 34-year-old Rodrigo Ramos Torres.

Afterwards, the ford Focus continued and struck the leading edge of a trailer being towed by the F-150.

Unfortunately, the first responders pronounced the unidentified Focus driver dead at the scene.

At this time, it remains unclear if the deceased driver was intoxicated when the collision happened.

Officials closed down a section of Highway 113 to conduct an investigation.
