The LAPD this week released security video (on the next page) of a suspect they say is an old perv who snapped “upskirt” photos of unsuspecting girls at the Westfield Topanga mall this summer.

The man was actually confronted and chased off by the mother of a 7-year-old victim, cops say, but continued taking images other females as she shadowed him:

It happened July 20 at 3:45 p.m. at the mall's food court, cops said. According to an LAPD statement:

… A suspect approached a seven-year-old girl while she was standing in line at the food court in the Westfield Topanga Plaza Mall. The suspect pointed a small camera in the direction of the victim's dress before he was scared away by the victim's mother.

Police say the woman followed the suspect and witnessed him take “numerous” upskirt photos of three teenage girls at the mall.

He left the mall before security guards could get him, cops said.

The suspect was described as a 60-something white man, 5 feet, 6 inches, max, about 150 pounds, and sporting light brown hair, glasses, a brown backpack and a yellow dress shirt.
