Update, 05.18.11, 9:41 a.m.: A few specifics on the dish Quenioux will make next week. It's a boudin noir with apple compote, creamed mashed potatoes and mustard tapioca stuffed into either a banh mi or a wrap. Also, Tran tells us he wants this to be the start of many guest lunch chefs and has a few interesting participants on his wish-list.

Update, 05.17.11, 11:30 a.m.: The official launch for the Sunday-through-Tuesday dinners is the first weekend in June. Chef Laurent Quenioux will also have a dish on Starry Kitchen's lunch menu starting next week.

Starry Kitchen is already pan-Asian, but it's about to get pan-continental as chef Laurent Quenioux hops behind the stoves for LQ @ SK. For the next three to six months, you'll find him at Starry Kitchen every other week from Sunday to Tuesday, preparing a seasonal five-course prix fixe menu for $45. What do you get when you mix wild boar sopes with green tofu balls? We're about to find out. Reservations are highly recommended. More details about the official opening night when we get them.

Quenioux has been cooking at Vertical Wine Bistro since December 2010; his much loved Bistro LQ closed in March.
