Update: The Times writer whose byline appears on the screengrab, Mikael Wood, says that the post is completely fabricated. His comments are at the bottom of the post.
According to a screengrab of what appears to be a page from the Los Angeles Times website — which was posted on a Coachella message board — the 2013 version of the festival will feature acts including Daft Punk, Justin Timberlake, and Skrillex.

The timestamp is dated this morning, and yet the story is not currently live on the Times' site. It's not clear if this is a finished draft.
Update: Times writer Mikael Wood, whose byline appears on the piece, calls the story an “amazingly elaborate” troll, and “pure fakery.” Upon discovering it this afternoon, “we were all having a laugh about it over here,” he says, adding that he has not spoken to Goldenvoice's Paul Tollett.
“The writing is ghastly,” he concludes.
