Dominique D’Vita is a thought leader in sexual wellness and empowerment, Tantra, and self-mastery.

The numbers are in: people are having bad sex.

A study released by the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) found that 43% of women and 31% of men reported being sexually unsatisfied in the past year. Another study by the American Sexual Health Association found that 40% of women and 30% of men reported having sexual problems that caused them distress.

Dominique D’Vita of Yes Tantra believes that life is far too short for unsatisfying sex.

“My mission is to help my clients live life to the fullest from a place of pleasure, love, magic and abundance,” she shares.

Dominique is a Registered Nurse, trauma-informed master transformation coach, and a certified Tantra educator. She teaches that anyone can learn to unleash their inner power through Tantra, experiencing a mind, body, and soul transformation.

“I spent 30 years as a critical care nurse and had specialized training as an RNFA assisting with open heart, robotic and neurosurgeries,” she reveals. “I have literally seen the human experience from the inside out. When I discovered the healing power of Tantra, it radically transformed my own life, and I knew I wanted to share this knowledge. Tantra has the tools to truly open people’s hearts. When we change our inner world, our outer world changes too.”

Dominique is passionate about showing people a new way of nourishing their body, mind, and soul to promote self-discovery and personal freedom. She merges her knowledge of science and spirituality, and encourages her clients to access a deeper level of intimacy with themselves and others. Through her holistic approach, she guides her clients to harness their life force energy – also known as sexual energy – to initiate healing, growth, and a greater understanding of life and their purpose.

She emphasizes that understanding and cultivating our sexuality can be a powerful tool for success. “Being in control of our sexual energy allows us to cultivate an energy and attitude that exudes confidence, leading to greater success in our lives and relationships.”

Tantra provides the tools to help nurture and cultivate your emotional mastery, expanding your capacity to let go of fear, judgments, and limiting beliefs while embracing self-love. This creates the foundation to truly experience deep, soulful connection and love.

My mission is to empower individuals to create meaningful, pleasurable, and transformative relationships with themselves and others,” she states. “I believe in creating a space of safety and curiosity so that people can explore new levels of possibility and create a life filled with connection and pleasure.”

A client in his sixties wasn’t able to make love to his wife due to Erectile Dysfunction (E.D.). The typical solutions of Viagra simply didn’t work for him. After being coached by Dominique, he regained strong erections, without the use of medications and he and his wife are thrilled. In his own words, “I had no idea that our sex life could get better in our sixties than it was when we were in our thirties!”

Dominique teaches men non-ejaculatory and multiple orgasm stamina, empowers women to live an orgasmic life while connecting to their sensuality, and supports medical professionals with healing PTSD and regulating their nervous systems. An unknown fact is that one in four healthcare workers in the US experiences symptoms of PTSD.

Dominique offers virtual coaching and workshops as well as retreats. She customizes the experience for each client’s unique journey and also has group programs. She has been a guest on numerous podcasts. She also has online courses and shares tutorial videos on YouTube.

“Many people come to me not really knowing what Tantra is,” she says. “I usually start by teaching them what it’s not. It’s not something that requires two people. You can practice it alone. It’s not something you have to change your religion to practice. It is an ancient spiritual Hindu and Buddhist practice that is rooted in the philosophies of yoga and Indian religions, and I think that’s where people tend to get confused. But in essence, it’s not a religion in and of itself, though when practiced, it can absolutely lead to very spiritual experiences.”

She adds that Tantra uses mantras, rituals, and visualizations to create a connection with the divine, but that the divine is left up to the interpretation of the user. “The purpose of Tantra is not to simply acquire spiritual knowledge, but rather to experience the power of the divine within oneself,” Dominique states. “My background as a nurse gave me a healthy respect for science, and so in my teachings, I blend science and spirituality to create a deeper understanding of the body and how people can connect to the universe and to each other.”

Dominique guides her clients in nervous system regulation, trauma and emotion release, somatics, inner child healing, mindset coaching, and much more. “There is so much that the human body is capable of that people would never dream of,” she says. “Couples report experiencing deeper intimacy and a more vivid connection, even when I’m only working with one of them. I love supporting couples and marriages, even if only one person is ready to do the work!” She also specializes in coaching singles and empowering them to be their own best lover and guiding them to increase their confidence and magnetism.

She says that one of her biggest challenges with teaching Tantra is the misconception that it’s only about sex. “It’s so much deeper than that. It’s a powerful tool for transformation,” Dominique affirms. “Another challenge I face is that social media is not warm to sex-positive information. I have to censor so much – but there’s so much I want to share! Navigating these obstacles has been a lot to overcome, but I believe in the power of soulful sex and pleasure passionately, and I won’t stop sharing these tools and techniques.”

People’s fear to talk openly about sex – and their assumption that Tantra is a religion, or that it’s only about sex – has not dimmed Dominique’s light. “My purpose is to guide others in my work, and to keep shining a light on their fears and blind spots,” she says. “I have a deep desire to have a positive impact on people’s lives and the world. I dream of creating a ripple effect of love and compassion in the world, while guiding others to shine their light too.”

She often points to the quote “Be the change you want to see in the world”, often attributed to Mahatma Gandhi. This is a succinct abbreviation of his full quote, which is also very powerful: “We but mirror the world. All the tendencies present in the outer world are to be found in the world of our body. If we could change ourselves, the tendencies in the world would also change. As a man changes his own nature, so does the attitude of the world change towards him. This is the divine mystery supreme. A wonderful thing it is and the source of our happiness. We need not wait to see what others do.”

Dominique D’Vita is on a mission to help change the world – through tantric transformation. With her company Yes Tantra, her ultimate goal is to empower individuals and couples to embark on their own spiritual journey to raise their consciousness and connect to the divine. “The healing of the world begins within each and every one of us,” Dominique proclaims. “Through tantric transformation and conscious connection, we can open our hearts to positive change in the world and have a greater connection to the spirit within us.” With these powerful words, she echoes the wise words of Rumi: “Yesterday I was clever, so I wanted to change the world. Today, I am wise so I am changing myself.”
