We told you this week how USC seems to have drawn first blood when it comes to pranks leading up to the annual football game with crosstown rival UCLA. Someone poured red die in three fountains on the Westwood campus.

It looks like UCLA students struck back overnight. UCLA's letters were painted on USC's practice field, and some flagpoles at a nearby parking lot were painted blue-and-gold.

The annual game is one of the biggest football rivalries in the nation.

Groundskeepers at USC were cleaning up the mess Friday.

Who are you rooting for, the smart nerds of UCLA or the spoiled kids of USC?
