UCLA on Friday released an “update” on campus basketball legend John Wooden, but it didn't contain much information. It states:

“Coach John Wooden is resting comfortably at Ronald Reagan UCLA Medical Center and spent a peaceful night. He was admitted to the hospital on Wednesday, May 26, due to dehydration. At the request of the family, no other information regarding Coach Wooden's condition will be released.”

Contrary to some reports, the 99-year-old former coach who led UCLA to 10 NCAA championships in the 1960s and '70s is still alive.
