UCLA is so diverse that you'd almost have to date someone who's not of your own background just to survive.

It's nearly 36 percent Asian American, 29 percent white, 17 percent Latino and 4 percent African American.

A new ranking of top American colleges for interracial dating put UCLA in the top 10. USC did not make the list:

We're surprised UCLA only came in 10th place, actually. There are more interracial dating opportunities at Rutgers (No. 1), Andrews University (No. 2) and Stanford (No. 3)?

Give us a break.

The website InterracialMatch.com compiled the list this week. A statement says it used not only a school's student body diversity but also the diversity of the town in which it resides.

(L.A. is so diverse it's almost reverse-diverse, with minorities representing a majority and one out of every two of us being of Latino descent.)

At least UCLA creamed USC. According to a statement from InterracialMatch.com:

… Our members identified UCLA as the “best college to find a date from another race,” more than five times more [often] than rival USC.

In your face, Trojans.
