19-Year-Old Man Critically Injured in Sideshow Crash near Six Flags Amusement Park

VALLEJO, CA (July 14, 2022) – Sunday night, police received a report about an illegal sideshow that injured Tyler Ingersoll.

The sideshow happened on July 3rd, around 7:00 p.m. involving at least 200 vehicles.

According to Ingersoll’s girlfriend, Alyssa Gastelum, she and Ingersoll were onlookers at the sideshow, when they heard gunshots. Gastelum ducked to avoid the bullets. When she got up, she found that Ingersoll had fallen to the ground. He had been struck by a black Mustang with silver rims. The impact caused him to fall and hit his head.

Emergency responders rushed him to a nearby hospital, where medical professionals reported that he suffered traumatic brain injuries and is in critical condition.

Ingersoll’s family has set up a GoFundMe to support his medical expenses and rehabilitation.
