2 Construction Workers Sent to Hospital After Injury Accident Near 110 Freeway

SAN PEDRO, CA (July 21, 2023) – Tuesday morning, two workers sustained injuries after a crane accident on North Gaffey Street.

The incident happened at around 11:30 a.m. at the 400 block of N. Gaffey Street.

As per the CHP, two men were working to dismantle a billboard when the construction crane overturned and the two fell about 20 feet below.

First responders rushed the two workers to the hospital with injuries that are not specified at the moment.

At this time, the cause of the crane accident is under active investigation.

San Pedro police will release additional information once they become available.
