Head-On Collision on US Highway 395 Left Two Men Critically Injured

VICTORVILLE, CA (January 10, 2022) – A head-on crash on US Highway 395 left two men critically injured Thursday night.

The incident happened just before 9:30 p.m., north of Bear Valley Road.

According to the police, the collision involved a gray Dodge Charger and a white older model Chevy Silverado pickup.

Eventually, the Victorville City Firefighters arrived and determined two patients needed medical helicopters for transport.

However, four helicopters declined due to the weather. Later, ground ambulances arrived and took both patients to trauma hospitals down the hill.

In the end, officials closed US Highway 395 in both directions between Bear Valley and Luna Road for further investigation.

Victorville Officials are currently investigating the circumstances surrounding the head-on crash.
