A Los Angeles police office sustained serious injuries after the cruiser she was in was involved in a collision in Koreatown Friday afternoon, a city fire official said. Another patrol car appeared to have collided with an additional vehicle simultaneously, according to ABC7. The station reported that both units were responding to an emergency when the collisions happened. Another officer and two other people sustained non-life-threatening injuries, said Erik Scott of the Los Angeles Fire Department.

The accidents at 749 S. Western Ave. were reported at 3:25 p.m., Scott said.
