Car Crash near West Acacia Avenue Left 2 Fatalities

LOS ANGELES, CA (May 4, 2022) – Saturday morning, two victims died after a vehicle accident on 91 Freeway.

Authorities received a call about a crash on the eastbound 91, just west of Acacia Avenue at 12:37 a.m.

The Los Angeles Fire Department firefighters pronounced two occupants dead at the scene.

Per reports, a Honda struck the left side of a Toyota 4 Runner, sending the Toyota into the right dirt shoulder, where it struck a pole.

The Toyota’s driver, a 24-year-old Huntington Beach man, and his passenger, an 18-year-old El Monte woman, were both pronounced dead.

The Honda driver fled the scene.
