Two Killed in Semi-Truck Accident near Foster City Boulevard

FOSTER CITY, CA (August 9, 2022) – Friday morning, two victims were dead and one was hospitalized after a big-rig accident on Highway 92.

The collision happened around 9:45 a.m., just east of Foster City Boulevard on the Peninsula side of the bridge.

According to reports, the driver of a silver Ford Fusion was heading west at an unknown rate of speed. For reasons unknown, the driver allowed the vehicle to veer right and strike a parked Volvo big-rig.

Due to the impact of the collision, two occupants died at the scene. Meanwhile, multiple others sustained minor injuries. Although, authorities have not released the identities of those involved.

Moreover, all lanes of the eastbound Highway 92 were temporarily shutdown to allow for cleanup and preliminary duties, but have since reopened.
