Motorcycle Collision near Edmond Street Left 2 Fatalities

LAS VEGAS, NV (July 17, 2023) – Late Saturday night, two people died in a crash near Spring Mountain Road and Edmond Street. The incident happened on July 8th, at around 11:45 p.m., near the intersection of Spring Mountain Road and Edmond Street. According to reports, a 29-year-old motorcyclist was riding a 2014 Yamaha and headed westbound on Spring Mountain Road at high speeds. At the same time, a 50-year-old pedestrian attempted to cross Spring Mountain Road outside a marked crosswalk through the intersection at South Edmond Street. As a result, the motorcyclist collided head-on with the pedestrian upon approaching Edmond Street. Emergency crews at the scene pronounced the pedestrian and the rider dead at the scene. At this time, the identities of both deceased remain unreleased.
