Two Victims Killed in Three-Car Collision near Flint Road

HOLLISTER, CA (March 25, 2022) – Late Saturday evening, a 3-vehicle accident on Highway 156 claimed the lives of two people.

According to California Highway Patrol officers, the crash happened around 10:45 p.m. Crews arrived on the eastbound lanes of the freeway, near Flint Road.

For reasons unknown, the driver of a westbound 1995 Honda Accord crossed the double yellow line into the eastbound lanes. Consequently, the vehicle collided with an oncoming eastbound 2020 Nissan Moreno head-on.

Afterward, the Honda continued west in the eastbound lanes and also struck a Tesla.

Medical personnel arrived and pronounced a 71-year-old man and his 63-year-old passenger dead at the scene. Although, authorities have not yet released their identities.

At this time, Hollister Officials are still currently working to identify the circumstances surrounding the fatal crash.
