Single-Vehicle Crash along Highway 60 near Loop 303 Resulted in 2 Injuries
SURPRISE, AZ (October 20, 2022) – Late Saturday night, a wrong-way crash along Highway 60 left two people injured.
The incident happened on October 15th, involving a single vehicle.
According to reports, a vehicle drove eastbound on the westbound lanes and struck a guardrail near 163rd Avenue. As a result, two people suffered injuries and were transported to the hospital for treatment. The driver suffered major wounds to his face and upper body.
Authorities later closed down the areas on Highway 60 surrounding the site of the crash to perform cleanup and preliminary duties.
At this time, police are looking into impairment as a factor in the crash. No other information was added and an investigation is underway.
