Hit-and-Run on Sparks Boulevard Left Two Injured

SPARKS, NV (January 21, 2022) – A hit-and-run crash on Sparks Boulevard injured two people Tuesday evening.

According to authorities, the collision happened around 10 p.m.

Furthermore, reports say a red pickup truck was involved in a hit-and-run in the area of Pyramid Way and Highland Ranch.

Eventually, it crashed head-on with another car near Ion drive per police reports.

Subsequently, the driver of the pickup truck obtained minor injuries. Paramedics transported the driver to a nearby hospital.

Meanwhile, another person also suffered minor injuries.

As a result, authorities closed Northbound Sparks at Ion drive to pave way for the investigation surrounding the crash. As per the initial investigation, impairment is believed to be a factor in the crash. An active investigation continues to progress.
