Female Victim Airlifted after Fiery Collision near Oak Hills

OAK HILLS, CA (January 31, 2022) – A fiery vehicle crash on 15 Freeway involving a car and a semi-truck left two people hurt Sunday night.

According to the authorities, the fiery crash took place in the southbound lanes on the 15 freeway just after 11:00 p.m.

Furthermore, police said a Dodge Challenger crashed into the rear end of a parked semi-truck loaded with poultry. The impact caused both vehicles to catch fire as the flames abruptly spread to the semi.

Meanwhile, the unharmed semi-truck driver safely found his way out as he was able to dismount the trailer from the vehicle.

However, a female from the sedan broke her leg, and the second individual acquired only minor injuries. Subsequently, a helicopter airlifted and transported her to a trauma center.

As a result, the southbound lanes of Interstate 15 were temporarily shut down as police cleared the scene.

Further circumstances surrounding the fiery crash on 15 Freeway remains under active investigation.
