58-Year-Old Driver Dead, Two Injured after Fatal Collision on 204th Street and 28th Avenue
LYNNWOOD, WA (September 7, 2021) – A 58-year-old Everett man lost his life Tuesday following a deadly two-vehicle collision on 204th Street.
The incident happened around 10:00 p.m. of August 31st, at the intersection of 204th Street SW and 28th Avenue.
According to reports, the Everett man was riding a Chevrolet Camaro eastbound on 204th Street at a high rate of speed, when he failed to stop at a red light and t-boned a Mercedes Benz GI at the intersection.
As a result of the crash, the Camaro driver and two of his passengers sustained moderate to major injuries, medics rushed them to Harborview Medical Center, where the Camaro driver, a 58-year-old Everett man, later died from his injuries.
Meanwhile, other paramedics airlifted all four occupants of the Mercedes to Providence Regional Medical Center with minor injuries.
However, authorities have not released the condition of the remaining victims.
Furthermore, officials closed the area for the whole night for cleanup and further investigations.
At this time, authorities are conducting active investigation of the fatal collision on 204th Street, once available more information will be released.
