Multi-Vehicle Collision near Corral Hollow Road Left 2 Hurt

SAN JOAQUIN COUNTY, CA (June 15, 2022) – Friday morning, an accident on Interstate 580 left two drivers injured, authorities said.

According to the California Highway Patrol, the multi-vehicle crash happened around 5:30 a.m. west of Corral Hollow Road.

Furthermore, investigators said an SUV headed eastbound crashed over the center divider and overturned into the westbound lanes. Following the initial collision, the SUV collided with a motorcycle going westbound.

Consequently, both vehicles were also struck by a tractor-trailer.

Eventually, paramedics arrived at the scene and transported both the motorcyclist and the truck driver to a nearby hospital for treatment of major injuries.

At this time, San Joaquin County Officials are working to identify the circumstances surrounding the crash.
