Traffic Collision near Snapdragon Stadium Injured Two

SAN DIEGO, CA (September 23, 2022) Wednesday morning, a two-car crash on Friars Road left at least two people hospitalized.

The collision happened around 11:30 a.m. near Interstate 15 after a Toyota Prius and a Lexus sedan ran into each other for an unknown reason.

According to the first responders, one person was hospitalized for major injuries. Paramedics also took the second victim to a hospital for back pain.

No further details regarding the Friars Road two-car crash have been released to the public; however, San Diego Officials will provide more information once available.

Friars Road remained closed until 2:20 p.m. as crews cleared out the scene. An active investigation is currently underway.
