Fatal Multi-Car Accident Kills 2 in Prescott Valley

PRESCOTT VALLEY, AZ (August 12, 2021) – Wednesday on July 21, two people were pronounced dead after a two-vehicle crash on Highway 69.

The crash took place around 12:20 p.m., near Valley View Drive, as per the report. Dispatchers arrived to the area shortly after.

Per reports, a white sedan was heading west on the highway when the driver, a 61-year-old Prescott woman, crossed the center divider. As a result, she struck an oncoming minivan driven by a 62-year-old man.

Following preliminary duties, investigators discovered that the woman may have suffered a medical emergency prior to the collision.

Due to the impact of the crash, both drivers were pronounced dead on the scene. However, their identities have not been released.

In addition, the eastbound lanes were closed while crews cleared the scene. But, the road has since reopened to traffic.

Meanwhile, the two-vehicle crash on Highway 69 is still under active investigation.
