Three-Vehicle Collision near Mountain View Boulevard Left Two Fatalities

SURPRISE, AZ (December 13, 2022) – At least two unidentified people died Friday morning, in a multi-car collision on US 60.

The accident occurred the morning of December 2nd, along US 60 at Mountain View Boulevard.

According to initial reports, the driver of a westbound pickup-truck collided with two other vehicles under unknown circumstances.

As a result, the pickup-truck overturned, ejecting one of its occupants onto the roadway.

Officers responded and pronounced the ejected victim from the truck dead at the scene, as well as another victim found inside the truck, who died from blunt force trauma.

Moreover, the truck came to rest in an embankment next to the road with extensive front-end damage. Both directions of the roadway were temporarily shutdown to allow for cleanup and preliminary duties.

Authorities are working to identify the victims in the fatal crash on US 60 as an active investigation is currently underway.
