Three-Vehicle Collision Near Walnut Boulevard Left Two Fatalities
BRENTWOOD, CA (July 12, 2023) – Monday morning, a head-on crash on Vasco Boulevard claimed the lives of two people.
The deadly collision occurred around 6:40 a.m. at the intersection of Vasco and Walnut Road, near the city of Brentwood.
Based on the investigation, a silver Nissan Altima rear-ended a silver Honda Fit for unknown reasons. Afterward, the Nissan veered into the northbound lanes and crash head-on with a gray Acura Integra.
Unfortunately, the drivers of both the Nissan and Acura sustained fatal injuries. First responders to the site of the collision pronounced the two drivers dead at the scene.
Meanwhile, medical responders transported the Honda driver to a hospital for treatment of minor injuries. Police reported no other injuries from the incident.
The identities of the deceased victims remain undisclosed to the public.
Brentwood Officials closed Vasco Road until 9:30 a.m. as crews clear out the roadway.
