Two Road Lanes Shut Down after a Crash in Lake Elsinore

LAKE ELSINORE, CA (March 4, 2021 ) – Sunday morning on February 28, two big-rigs collided causing a fuel leak on Interstate 15.

The crash happened around 7:45 a.m., on the southbound side of the freeway just north of Lake Street. One of the trucks was pulling cars when it struck with another big-rig, causing the deadly collision.

It was not clear if anybody was injured, but an ambulance was called to the scene. The accident caused a fuel spill and a team of hazmats was on their way to the site. However, there was already traffic in the area.

In the meanwhile, a Sigalert was issued and two lanes were closed. This caused major delays, but the roadway has since been reopened.
