To prevent motor vehicle accidents, stay alert and drive defensively. When crossing a busy intersection, exercise due caution. Always activate your turn signal or blinker before making any turns. Be aware of your blind spots and pull into the roadway slowly. If you are turning on a road where there is no dedicated left-turn signal or lane, be patient and make sure there is no obstruction to your view.
