70-Year-Old Woman Crashes into Power Pole on Eastvale Road

LOS ANGELES, CA (September 7, 2022) – Late Tuesday morning, Tuba Ghannadi was killed in a single-vehicle crash on Sunnyridge Road.

Emergency crews responded to the scene around 11:45 a.m., in the 2700 block of Sunnyridge Road near Eastvale Road.

According to reports, Ghannadi was driving a Tesla Model 3 when she struck a nearby power pole before coming to a stop in the front lawn of a home. However, further events leading up to the incident remain unclear.

Medical personnel arrived and pronounced 70-year-old Ghannadi, of Rolling Hills dead at the scene. She was the sole occupant of the vehicle at the time.

In addition, the impact of the collision sheared the utility pole off the ground, causing a power outage to at least 100 homes in the area. At this time, an active investigation to determine further details is still currently underway.
