Three men were killed and another was wounded in an early morning shooting in Harbor Gateway.

Officers responding to an “unknown disturbance” at an apartment building in the 1600 block of West 205th Street immediately discovered two dead men in or near the building, including one in a stairwell, LAPD Officer Cleon Joseph told us.

The victims appeared to be in their 20s, he said.

Cops then found a third victim, also dead, inside an apartment, Joseph said. A fourth man was found in the neighborhood. He was hospitalized in unknown condition and was not cooperating with investigators, Joseph said.

All of the men had been shot, police said. It all happened about 5:30 a.m.

Motive was unclear but officials at the scene told reporters that there was no further threat of violence.

[Update at 12:18 a.m. Monday]: Cops over the weekend said that 28-year-old Narada Brooks was arrested Friday night in La Habra by LAPD detectives, according to City News Service.

Although details were scarce, we do know that Brooks was booked on suspicion of murder and was being held without bail, according to City News and sheriff's inmate data.
