Head-On Crash Kills One, Hospitalizes 62-Year-Old Trinidad Magana

DENAIR, CA (September 23, 2021) – Last Thursday, a deadly head-on collision killed one man, and sent Trinidad Magana to the hospital.

Officers responded to the reports of a traffic collision around 6:32 a.m., along Santa Fe Avenue near Monte Vista Avenue.

Upon arrival, police and medical personnel discovered three vehicles in the wreckage, including a Subaru SUV, a Toyota sedan and a 2002 Nissan.

Eventually, authorities determined that the Subaru SUV failed to change lanes properly and collided head-on with the Toyota. Consequently hitting the 2002 Nissan as well, before all vehicle came to a crashing stop on the roadway.

In addition, Trinidad Magana was airlifted to a local hospital due to the severity of his injuries. Unfortunately the driver of the Subaru was pronounced dead, while the Nissan driver escaped uninjured.

Denair Officials are conducting an active investigation at this time.
