Two Unidentified Women Killed in Collision on Stockwell Street

COMPTON, CA (June 13, 2022) – Late Sunday night, two women were killed in a collision on Wilmington Avenue that involved Treyshawn Cooley.

Authorities responded to the scene around 11:40 p.m., near the intersection of Wilmington Avenue and Stockwell Street.

According to reports, the driver of a red Honda Civic ran through a red light and struck a southbound Nissan Rogue on Wilmington Avenue. Officers identified the Nissan driver as Cooley.

Medical personnel arrived and pronounced two women dead at the scene. Although, authorities have not yet released their identities.

Both directions of the roadway shutdown temporarily to allow for cleanup and preliminary duties. No further details are available at this time. However, further investigations are still underway.
