29-year-old Trevor Davison Killed after Two-Vehicle Crash on Riverside Freeway near Serfas Club Drive

CORONA, CA (April 20, 2021) – Tuesday night, Trevor Davison was killed in a fatal two-vehicle crash on Riverside Freeway.

The accident happened around 10:51 p.m., on April 14. Emergency crews arrived on the westbound lanes, just west of Serfas Club Drive.

According to CHP, a black Toyota Corolla lost control and collided with a guardrail before veering back into the slow lane, with all lights out.

Moments later the Toyota was rear-ended by a Chevrolet Sonic in the slow lane, pushing the Toyota into the third lane.

Due to the impact of the crash, the driver of the Sonic sustained minor injuries and is expected to be okay. The passenger’s head struck the windshield, causing fatal injuries.

Despite life-saving attempts, the passenger died at the scene. Police identified the passenger as Trevor Davison, 29, of Fullerton.

Meanwhile, medics rushed the Sonic driver with minor injuries to hospital for treatment. It is still unknown if drugs or alcohol were factors.

The westbound side of the Freeway was closed for cleanup, but it reopened just before 2:00 a.m.
