Trejo’s Tacos will host an all-day celebration commemorating its fifth anniversary on Saturday, March 20. Held at the restaurant’s La Brea location, the event will include food and beverage specials on several signature items and the sounds of live Mariachi music. Owner Danny Trejo himself will be on hand for the festivities. The party will run throughout Trejo’s Tacos’ regular operating hours, with the Mariachi band performing from 12 – 2 p.m. Drink specials, including $5 OG Margaritas, will be available all day, as well as a featured menu of $5 appetizers.

Dog Haus is set to make its Glendora debut on Saturday, March 20 and will be giving away free kids meals all day on March 20-21 to celebrate. The Glendora location is also giving 20 lucky fans a free Haus Dog every week throughout the remainder of 2021. To enter for a chance to win, text “Glendora” to 31996 now through April 4. Winners will enjoy their choice of seven chef-driven Haus Dog creations, which feature premium toppings, once a week for the entirety of 2021. Salt & Straw is bringing back its wacky “cereal-sly” menu starting today, March 19, through Thursday, April 22. Flavors to watch Saturday morning cartoons by include: 

Pots of Gold & Rainbows featuring mountains of rainbow mallows and OffLimits’ Dash Cold Brew Cocoa Crisps, a cold brew ice cream featuring OffLimits’ “Dash” coffee and cocoa cereal. There’s also Peanut Butter Captain Munch (dairy-free), an oat milk ice cream with peanut butter cereal clusters and peanut butter swirl and Cornflake Cookies w/ Marionberry Jam – House made marionberry jam meets cereal-flecked ice cream and crumble brown butter sugar cookies. 

Celebrate Passover and leave the meal preparation to The Skirball’s culinary team. There are gourmet Passover dishes for takeout, including  ceremonial foods for the seder plate as well as an à la carte menu with traditional or vegan matzo ball soup, pomegranate molasses-glazed seared salmon fillet, boneless whole chicken with rosemary matzo stuffing and Grand Marnier orange sauce, potato kugel and coconut macaroon trios.
