When seventeen-year-old Trayvon Martin was fatally shot by a crime watch volunteer in Sanford, Florida, a local tragedy turned into a national story. Across the country, race relations, gun laws and self-defense were brought into question. People from both coasts have taken to the streets to protest the murder of an unarmed teenager.
