Soulful hip-hop artist Ross Collins hails from Indianapolis, but has landed in the City of Angels — pursuing his one true love of music. Most recently, he unleashed Sounds Like Summer, which includes standout single “Cruisin’.”

“Cruisin’” automatically hits home, as his smooth vocals come in over a light, airy production. The record is about being in your whip with the windows down, driving through the city with your significant other. From the mountains to the beaches to the traffic, Los Angeles will have you exploring all the hot spots with your crush.

On the hook, Ross croons, “Let’s get lost in the mountains and look for houses / Maybe a yard that comes with a fountain / Or we get go get ratchet in Calabasas, or smoke it up cruisin la traffic.”

Shortly after, he shouts out all the surrounding cities from the hoods of Inglewood to the beautiful beaches in Malibu.
