Adam Halliday has just unleashed his first music video, ever. Splitting his time between Manchester, U.K., and Philadelphia, the singer-songwriter now calls Los Angeles home. Growing up listening to everyone from Oasis and Arctic Monkeys to Usher and Eminem, Halliday brings a unique fusion of hip-hop and pop.

Finding his footing in the City of Angels, it wasn’t long before he caught the attention of producer Murda Beatz, who went on to sign him to his publishing company Murda Gang. Now, he unleashes the visual to his first single “Trippin.”

On the chorus, he croons, “Trip trip trippin off your love, sip sip I can’t get enough / Days grow cold in the winter, so hold me til I feel something.”

This is a romantic ballad for the cuffing season that’s upon us, perfect for those cold L.A. nights with your boo. Self-directed by Halliday himself alongside Integral Studio’s in-house team (Chris DelVecchio and Ahmed Diabate), the three-and-a-half minute clip sees him in bed in the presence of a beautiful female — someone who’s got him sprung.

Speaking on the video, he states, “Had a lot of fun bringing this idea to life. It’s my first video so I was excited and a little nervous but now that it’s out in the world, I’m proud.”
