What's the rabbit, and is it something I need to have?

For starters, let's define the rabbit sex toy for those who don't know what it is. While it was made way popular with its on-camera debut in HBO's “Sex and the City,” the rabbit is a dual action, multi-speed vibrator that has a rod that looks like a penis with an attached clitoral tickler in the shape of a bunny rabbit.

The rabbit's ears are designed to tickle the clitoris (you can use the nose, too). Not everyone loves the rabbit, but for those who think it's the most “hoppening” sex toy on the market,  they generally like its multi-speed/multi-function capabilities.

By that I mean it does two things at once! She can insert the larger phallic piece inside of her, where it's designed to spin or rotate. Plus almost midway down the shaft the pleasurist will discover pearls, (not real ones though, bummer) and these are designed to create stimulation around the entrance to the vagina – and since the first 1/3 of the vagina is the most sensitive part, a lot of ladies like this! Then, once you've got the rod in, you need to align the rabbit ears or nose with the spots on or around the clitoris that she likes best.

That's why I don't love the toy. Not every body is aligned the same way, so the fact that it's got two things going on doesn't quite work for everyone. So if you, or someone you love/like, tries the rabbit and thinks it's rocking, great, but if it doesn't do it for you, that's OK,too.

You can always buy two toys, one for penetration and one for clitoral stimulation and be just as hoppy!
