Ever get the urge to lace up your twenty-eye Docs, wrap a couple studded bracelets around your wrists and start stomping around your bedroom? When you do, make sure to blare these classic industrial dance club hits.

KMFDM “Godlike” (fan video with Xenosaga)

Thanks in part to its creative appropriation of a Slayer riff, KMFDM burned up dance floors in the early 1990s with “Godlike.” One of the band's best loved tunes, “Godlike” is as metal as it is dance. Check out KMFDM live Friday night at Club Nokia.

My Life with the Thrill Kill Kult “The Devil Does Drugs” (fan video using Paprika)

Associated in its early years with the influential Wax Trax! record label, My Life with the Thrill Kill Kult was a little more rave-y than many of their industrial brethren, with plenty of neon album covers and songs that could cross genres within the club scene. Though the Thrill Kill Kult unleashed numerous club hits throughout the late '80s and early '90s, this is a particularly nifty number. As a bonus, this fan video uses footage from Satoshi Kon's film Paprika, which is possibly the most bizarre anime ever made.

Skinny Puppy “Assimilate”

Quite possibly the greatest industrial stomper in existence. Listen to that beat. Doesn't it make you want to thrust your arms above your head and start kicking air? It should also be said that Skinny Puppy puts on one of the best live shows you will ever hope to see.

Front 242 “Headhunter”

With a purely synth-based sound, Front 242 became one of the biggest influences upon the mid-to-late '90s wave of EBM (electronic body music) artists like Covenant (playing Friday night at Das Bunker), And One and :wumpscut:.

Nitzer Ebb “Join in the Chant”

Another one of the EBM originators, Nitzer Ebb's biggest floor-packer stands out not only for its dance beat, but for the chant. Scream along if you can, it's more fun that way.
