Bravo announced this morning that Top Chef Season 10 “will be coming to you shortly,” that it was filmed in Seattle, and revealed the identity of the season's contestants. Judges this season will be Deadpan-Padma and Tough-Tom, of course, as well as Gail Simmons and Hugh Acheson. Wolfgang Puck will also be making judging appearances.

Among the cheftestants are quite a few from Southern California. Let's take a closer look at those folks:

Micah Fields, the 28-year-old executive chef at The Standard Hotel. Fields' bio isn't up on Bravo yet, but we do know these things about him: He surfs! He was part of that Eater Hot Chefs silliness! L.A. is his hometown! That's enough for me — go Micah!!

Brooke Williamson, the 34-year-old co-executive chef and co-owner of Hudson House in Redondo Beach and The Tripel in Playa del Rey. She was apparently the youngest chef ever to cook at the James Beard House.

Kuniko Yagi, the 35-year-old Japanese-born chef of an upcoming David Myers restaurant in Los Angeles. In 2010 she was named a Star Chefs Rising Star when she worked as chef de cuisine at Sona.

The new season will premier November 7.
