Grilled Cheese & Soup

For the final night of Breadbar's Food Truck Hatchi Series, the Grilled Cheese Truck stops by with a menu of eight grilled cheese sandwiches each paired with a different soups. There's the North African/Middle Eastern zaatar melt with shakshouka, the beer-braised short rib melt with roasted cauliflower soup and for dessert, a bread pudding melt with apple-rose compote and star anise honey ice cream specially made by Coolhaus.

Pho Night

Made with a little bit of French technique and “a whole lotta love,” tonight's special is oxtail, bone marrow and beef knuckle pho that's been stewed for 16 hours, Only 70 bowls of this non-traditional pho available, so come early.

Santa Monica Pub Crawl

Bar hop to 20 bars and restaurants including Old Kings Head, Pourtal, Brittania, Harvelle's, W. 4th Jane, Wokcano, Cabo Cantina, Renee's, O'Briens Irish Pub on Main, Circle Bar and more while raising money for the Westside Food Bank. The theater's 24-hour fundraising marathon features a couple of savory events including a lecture by Jonathan Gold on “Food and Film.” After screening a new short about her experiments in black-light food, filmmaker Thu Tran will set up a special black-lit restaurant on Cinefamily's backyard patio.

Fugly Sweater Contest

There will be plenty of brews as well as burgers from the Grill Em All truck at Eagle Rock Brewery's second annual contest celebrating the worst in sartorial choices. Here's one place beer goggles might not improve the view.

Tasting Brunch with Salt's Cure

Real men don't eat quiche, they make it. Salt's Cure teams up with Domaine LA for a brunch of quiche, griddle cakes and a flight of three white, pink and red sparkling wines.
