Silverlake Wine pours four selections of small-production, artisanal wines against the backdrop of Frank Lloyd Wright's Hollyhock House at this weekly gathering. Food trucks join the cavalcade. This week: Heirloom LA, Let's Be Frank, Lake Street Creamery.

3. New Cocktail Menu
The Irish Vandal, The Dagny Taggart, The Scofflaw. They're not the lineup of an ersatz Coachella featuring only Irish hip-hop acts. They're the stars of the newish bar menu, introduced in early June, at whiskey den Seven Grand. The last of these features Old Overholt rye with dry vermouth, lemon and grenadine. What's so criminal about that?

2. 5 for 5 Happy Hour
Get five of chef Tim Goodell's items for $5 apiece (normally $6-13) at Public Kitchen's “5 for 5” weekday happy hour: a mushroom and taleggio tart, chicharrones with chili and lime, chickpea and three cheese fritters and more. To drink: house red and white wine, well drinks, draft beers and a daily specialty cocktail.

1. Stone Fruit Cocktail Menu
Available from June through September, Basement Tavern's new cocktail menu draws on the delectable stone fruit that hits farmers markets this time of year. Bartender Brad Twigg draws on donut peaches, cherries, plums and more for the drinks on the $10 menu.
