KDAY is the L.A. radio go-to when you want to pump the old-school jams, (we love that on their website they tell us, “On Air Now: All your favorite back in the day hits. Next Up: All your favorite back in the day hits.”) but our favorite thing about listening to the station is the oh-my-God-I-totally-forgot-how-much-I-love-this-song! moments it provides. Below is a list of the forgotten jams we immediately turned up, then shazamed.

5) LL Cool J – “I Need Love”

When I'm alone in my room, sometimes I stare at the wall, and in the back of my mind, I hear my conscience call.

4) Another Bad Creation – “Iesha”

Don't be so mean, don't be so mean.

3) Rick James – “Mary Jane”

O-oh-a doya?doya?doya?doya?doya?doya?doya?

2) The Pharcyde – “Passing Me By”

Now in my younger days I used to sport a sag, when I went to school I carried lunch in a bag.

1) N.O.R.E. – “Nothin'”

She's a haggler, naw I'm not taggin' her, but you don't want them boys to come over and start askin' ya…
