Feria de los Moles

This weekend it's time to head downtown to Olvera Street for the sixth edition of the Feria de los Moles, or festival of moles, billed as the largest Mexican food festival in the United States. This year there will be plenty of moles, including those from the Puebla restaurant El Mural de Los Poblanos, along with an appearance by Puebla Governor Rafael Moreno Valle, Ms. Mole 2013 and many terrific musicians, including rocker Alex Lora. Look for lucha libre, mole workshops, mole desserts (cupcakes! ice cream!), and a debate on who exactly makes the best mole.
